01. Junde monofilament (fiber)
As we all know, PEEK is a variety of polyaryletherketone polymers with excellent performance and is a
thermoplastic polymer with good comprehensive performance today. PEEK products are very rich in variety,
mainly including injection molded finished parts, continuous extrusion plate/rod profiles, films,
capillaries and other products.
Junde has developed Junde monofilaments (fibers) of certain sizes according to customer needs. Junde
filaments have excellent insulation properties, outstanding strength, and excellent heat and chemical
resistance.
02. PEEK monofilament (fiber) performance
Junde (polyetheretherketone) monofilament (fiber) has excellent performance. Tensile strength is
600-700MPa (single filament breaking strength is about 50 cN/tex), elongation is 40%, melting point is 340℃,
and gram weight is 430 g/10000 m (φ0.2 mm).
03. Application fields of PEEK monofilament (fiber)
Junde monofilament (fiber) has the characteristics of steam resistance, wear resistance, creep resistance,
good toughness and good biocompatibility. It is widely used in drying canvas for papermaking machinery,
heat-resistant filter cloth, racket mesh, composite materials (mixed or mixed with CF, GF, etc.), fuel
filter, artificial ligament, high-temperature insulation sheath on aircraft, etc.
